Parking a Small Car in a Large lot ... impossible? Believe it!

I really laughed in disbelief when I saw this.

This silly driver just went back and forth, back and forth, trying in vain to park her little car into a larger-than-enough lot.

The funniest part is when the driver in the car behind her just couldn't take it anymore, got out of HIS car, walked over, opened the lady's car, asked her to step out, then parked her car FOR her! lol

Danyl Johnson - X Factor Audition

I've got to say, this has got to be one of the best X-Factor Auditions ever.

Danyl Johnson, a teacher, comes up on stage, looking really comfortable, ready to perform.

And it's absolutely delightful to see how he immediately sweeps the audience off their feet with his confidence, charm, and well, X-factor.

It's talent like these that make such shows interesting, and make you wanting more!

Transformers - Autobots vs Decepticons

To think this cartoon from the 80's already has 2 mega blockbuster movies under its wings.

Really surreal to see your childhood animation become "live".

Transformers,

More than meets the eye!

Autobots wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons.

Transformers,

Robots in disguise.

Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light

This has got to be one of the coolest cartoon and toy series.

I remember how awed I was to see the holograms do their magic on the figurines, and imagining the wizardry spill out in front of me!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
It is a time when Magic is more powerful than Science, and only those who control the Magic, control destiny. They are the Visionaries

Visionaries, Knights of the Magical Light
Visionaries, with Magical Powers they fight
Powers of mind, strength, skill, 'n' speed
Powers to accomplish the greatest of deeds

Visionaries, Knights of the Magical Light
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Thunder, thunder, thunder, thundercats...ho!

One of the most unforgettable lines in cartoon history...

The famous Lion-o and his team!

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Thunder, thunder, thunder, thundercats, Ho!
Thundercats are on the move,
Thundercats are loose,

Thunder, thunder, thunder, Thundercats! Thundercats!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Heard the movie is coming...oh yeah!

He-man - The Most Powerful Man In The Universe!

Who can forget the most powerful man in the universe?!

Remember the famous lines:
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I am Adam, Prince of Eternia, defender of the secrets of Castle Greyskull.
This is Cringer, my fearless friend.

Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic
sword and said:
"By the power of Greyskull"

HE-MAN!

"I have the power!"

Cringer became the mighty Battle Cat.
And I became He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe.

The Voca People - Acapella & Beat Box Performance

Really interesting video here.

This group is known as the Voca People, and they do theater-style vocal performances without any musical instruments whatsoever.

Combining traditional acapella with modern beat boxing, the group performs a medley of well-known songs ranging from familiar oldies to recent pop songs.

Fun to watch, interesting to listen to :)

Hilarious! Lifeguard Pees in Swimming Pool!

I remember seeing this many many years ago, and now when I see it again, I still can't help but burst out laughing!

During what seems like an enjoyable sunny day in a swimming pool, the life guard on duty suddenly uses a loud hailer to ask everyone in the water to exit the pool, because he needs to go on a toilet break.

As weird as the request may seem, slowly but surely, the pool users exit the pool.

Then the silliest things happen; the lifeguard then steps into the pool till waist deep, and supposedly relieves himself right into the pool!

The rest of the pool users just watch in stunned amazement, not knowing whether to laugh or cry!

Wahaha....good one!

Michael Jackson's First Ever Solo On Stage Performance Live In Motown

Michael, thank you for the joy you've brought to my life.

You'll always be my king.

Jordan Jovtchev 2004 Athens Olympics Gymnastics Rings Routine

Jordan Jovtchev is indeed the proverbial "Lord of the Rings".

Well known for his immense strength and mind boggling routine in rings, Jordan wows us again during the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Can't help shaking my head every time he presses up to a swallow, or comes down to a cross.

Unbelievably strong, unfathomable excellence.

Alexei Nemov 2004 Athens Olympics High Bar Routine

Alexei Nemov has got to be one of the prodigies / geniuses of the gymnastics arena.

In this highly controversial high bar finals during the 2004 Athens Olympics, Alexei Nemov does a superb routine that not only the commentators know is incredible, but the roar of the crowd signals a guaranteed nod of approval.

But somehow, the judges ranked him a meagre 3rd, and the crowd shows no hesitation to let the judges know that they disapprove.

Nemov should have won the gold medal, despite the 1 foot misplacement during the landing.

Lessons from the Karate Kid's Mr. Miyagi

This is one of the classic movies in the 1980s - The Karate Kid.

In this movie, Mr. Miyagi asks his disciple, Daniel, to do household chores all day, like sanding the floor, painting the fence, waxing on and off etc.

This goes on for several days, and Daniel finally can't take it anymore, and begins whining and complaining, wondering why he's only asked to do these seemingly meaningless tasks.

Mr. Miyagi then asks him to show him all these movements one at a time, and then begins throwing punches at Daniel!

Surprisingly, Daniel automatically blocks all these attacks, without even thinking twice, using the exact same movements that he has been doing for the household chores.

This goes to show that the basics while most boring, are the most important!

Beyond Words - Tropfest Australia Finalist

This video is awesome! It's a short film that got into the finalists category in the recent Tropfest Australia.

It shows this young lady, who's deaf, getting ready to attend her yoga class.

As she enters the class, she notices that a suspicious character, also in the class, keeps looking in her direction.

At the end of the class, she's slightly relieved to find out that this person is actually blind.

In different, she left and made her way to her car.

Out of nowhere, a stranger grabs her from behind, demanding for the keys to her car.

Being deaf, she couldn't hear what he was saying.

Little did she know, the blind man from earlier actually walked up, and managed to scare the assailant off.

I love how the videography works, how they swap between silent video, and a black screen with audio, to show the contrast between the worlds of the blind and the deaf.

Not that it's a really exciting or scary show, just that the message is simple yet with a twist. Great stuff.

What is that? Τι είναι αυτό Greek Video - Father & Son

This is a great video that reminds us of the unconditional love that most parents have for their own offspring, and how children can sometimes take their parents for granted

The father in this scene, is sitting with his son, probably at some park or garden.

Then every few seconds, as a swallow flys by, the father will ask his son "What is that?"

The initial couple of times, the son answers the father, telling him that it's a swallow.

Despite this, the father still asks the same question, seemingly very forgetful.

Very quickly, the son gets annoyed, and ultimately bursts in anger and screams at his father.

At this point, the father went into their home and came back with his diary, to which he flips to a page, and asks his son to read.

So the son reads out aloud, only to realize that it was an entry back when he himself was a little child where there was a particular occasion when he asked his father a total of no less than 21 times "What is that?" each time a swallow flew past. And after patiently giving the same answer each time, the father would hug his son and be so grateful and loving.

This sent a loud and clear message to the son that his father loves him very much, and only wishes for the same.

Sound of Music | Central Station Antwerp (Belgium)

Trust the creative minds to come up with something so awesome!

Who'd have thought a song from donkey years ago could be the center of attention in this Central Station in Belgium?

It seemed like any other day at this busy station, and out of nowhere, the "Sound of Music" started playing.

A couple of supposed passers-by started to dance along with the song...too good to be un-rehearsed.

But every time you thought that's all the people involved, someone amongst the crowd joins them.

This keeps going on as the song gets deeper into its length, and before you know it, over 200 dancers are in the entire performance!

And just when I thought the song was over, it morphed into an upbeat, remix version of the original song, and the crew continued!

The rest of the bystanders were watching happily, excited faces gathered around to watch this highly innovative and entertaining spectacle.

Needless to say, the dance ended with an enormous round of applause.

This kinda stuff makes life fun :)

Hilarious Heineken Commercial TV Ad

When I first saw this Heineken Ad on TV, I thought it was really corny, genius, smart, hilarious!

The best thing about this commercial is how they use GUYS to behave like GALS when they get all excited about something.

Ok, so it's a little stereo-typical, but you have to admit it's so funny; how ladies always squeal at the top of their voices, jump / hop up and down and wave their hands frantically in the air when they're over-zealous.

So in this television ad about the popular beer, Heineken, a couple are having some kind of party or housewarming at their place, and the scene shows the lady owner (wife or girlfriend I presume) showing her girlfriends around the place, before finally surprising them with her brand new spankingly huge walk in closet.

Needless to say, her bffs are hysterical and simply can't believe their eyes.

Amidst their girlie screams, someone in the background, they can hear more screams coming from another room in the house. With a puzzled look on their collective faces, they all wonder what could be more exciting then a huge walk in closet chock full of designer clothing, branded shoes and accessories.

Lo and behold, the next scene shows the husband, together with his guys friends all squealing with excitement in what seems to be another walk-in closet. Only this time round, instead of clothes and footwear, it's stacked up with....bottles and bottles of Heineken Beer!

Good one!

Saving GAIA before the End of The World

This is an eye-opening talk by Shai Agassi of "Better Place".

He shares this urgent message about what we, the world, must do asap if we want to slow down the destruction of Mother Earth.

He shows how this might be done partially by changing motor cars for electric ones.

It's startling to know how quickly the earth's crude oil supply is being depleted, and how the actions we take as a whole are really self-destructing.

Not taking into account China, India and Russia, we are producing motor cars by the MILLIONS every single year, blindly adding to the already severe CO2 or carbon dioxide emission problem.

If there is no fundamental change, no paradigm shift in how we treat this planet, extinction can only draw ever closer by the second.

That's why "Better Place" is approaching car companies and even countries to adopt electric cars on a massive scale, at a nation-wide level.

I believe that despite present supposed limitations that make this change seemingly inconvenient, we don't have any more time to waste.

Let's do our part to save the world.

The Nuttiest Laugh in the world?!?

This guy is nuts! Just listen to him laugh!

Step aside, Fran Drescher, here comes a new challenger!

I guess those who watch it will find it really amusing...or plain irritating. :p

So which are you? Hiakz!

Nathan "Flutebox" Lee and Beardyman - Beatbox

I thought I've seen enough beatboxing to want to sit through watching another bunch of wannabes do weird stuff with their mouths.

But I must say I was blown away when I saw Nathan Lee do it...together with a flute!

Hence his nickname / stage name "Flutebox". Pretty cool stuff huh!

Of course, Beardyman was no less as impressive as well; his combination of rapping, singing (different styles even!) and beatboxing was really quite unique.

Rubber lips anyone? ;)

Independence Day President's Inspirational Speech

Can't believe I can still remember this movie from back in 1996...man, that's 13 years ago!

In Independence Day, the one where space invaders decide to take over the world, the human race has decided to come together and fight back, despite seemingly insurmountable odds.

So the night before the "last burst of fire", the President of the United States (played by Bill Pullman) gives a really inspirational speech to motivate those who have bravely gathered to fight against the E.T.s.

It's true what he said, that in a situation like this, the phrase "human race" really has a whole new meaning altogether.

Of course, after the speech, the fighters kicked the asses of the aliens, together with Will Smith's character, by managing to find the spaceships weak spot, and blasting them back into space.

I think this is the movie that always made me feel that earth should really be attacked by aliens, just so that we'd stop fighting EACH OTHER. We humans are so primitive that we fight...non-stop...with each other...for any reason we can conjure up.

So we should get our arses whooped a little by the little green men from Mars. Perhaps only when we realize that there are Martians out there that can really threaten our existence, then we puny earthlings just might stick together.

Rocky Balboa (VI) - Inspirational Speech to his Son

I've had this quote extracted from Rocky 6 (Rocky VI) - Rocky Balboa for the longest time as a signature in my emails.

Now I've finally decided to put up the actual clip here.

The speech starts somewhere in the middle of the video.

In this last installment of the Rocky series, Balboa's son (Robert Balboa - played by Milo Ventimiglia, better known as Peter Petrelli from the TV Series "Heroes") is having a hard time in his life and career, living in the shadow of his once almighty father, the legendary boxing heavyweight champion of the world, Rocky Balboa.

And when Rocky, after having retired for many years, decides to do a comeback fight, it proves to be the last straw for Robert and he lashes out at Rocky, dissuading him to go ahead with it.

But Rocky takes this chance to share how he truly feels about Robert's position, and turns the table around to inspire Robert to be more, do more and take responsibility of who he is and who he wants to become.

Here's the excerpt:
"Somewhere along the line, you changed.
You stopped being you.
You let people stick a finger in your face, and tell you you're no good.
And when things got hard, you started looking for something to blame...like a big shadow.
Let me tell you something you already know; the world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.
It's a very mean and nasty place.
And I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me, nobody...is gonna hit as hard as life.
But it ain't about how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can Get hit, and keep moving forward;
how much you can take, and keep moving forward.
That's how winning is done.
Now if you know what you're worth, go out and get what you're worth.
But you got to be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody.
Cowards do that, and that ain't you!
You're better than that!
Until you start believing in yourself, you ain't gonna have a life."

A&W RootBeer TV Commerial Ad - Dumass or Dumbass?

This is a hilarious ad from years ago, for A&W Rootbeer Restaurant Chain.

So this thick-headed moron goes for an interview and sells himself with stuck-up smugness. And he's stupid enough to keep weaving the company's name, Dumass, with what he says, only to pronounce it wrongly.

Go figure! Haha!

M1 Indian Restaurant TV Commercial

So in this commercial for long distance IDD service, the boss of an Indian restaurant in Mumbai picks up the phone to take an order.

Of course, he's really courteous, and asking for more details from this customer-to-be.

And when he finally asks for the customers delivery address...he flips when he hears the answer!

Good one, M1!

Beautifully Imperfect - Family Video (Funeral)

This is a really touching video, very well done.

It's a scene at a funeral, and the wife of the deceased is asked to the rostrum to give her eulogy.

Instead of the typical praise and testimonials of good deeds most others will speak of, this lady spoke of her husband's little imperfections...imperfections that's unique only to him, and meaningful only to her.

It is these imperfections that make our life partners so unforgettable, and forever leave a memory in our hearts.

Treasure the people you love, and love them for who they are....

And it's never too early to tell them how much they mean to you.

Severn Suzuki United Nations Earth Summit 1992 Brazil

Only 12 years old at the time of the speech, Severn Suzuki silenced the audience at the United Nations Summit in 1992 held in Brazil.

This feisty young lady gave the supposed leaders of the world a good dressing down, a piece of her mind.

It's true, we claim to heal the world, strive for peace, and move towards unity, but even 17 years down the road, look at how little we've progressed.

In the big scheme of things, humans really are parasites...don't you think?

I mean, we suck the planet dry of all resources, continue to increase our cursed population, fight amongst one another non-stop, bring about global warming, worsen the pollution...does that spell "end of the world" to you?

Maybe not this life time...but it's coming...believe it

The Mom Song

This song is unbelievable...and the singer is even more incredible!

Anita Renfroe sings a mouthful to the tune of the William Tell Overture.

While it makes me laugh, it also reminds me all that mothers around the world do for their children. Yeah, makes me appreciate my mum more ;)

Rush Hour 3 - You & Me or Yu & Mi?

Another one from Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker; I couldn't help laughing even after watching it for so many times!

In the movie, Carter is asking questions and this old fella just steps in to help, only to create a really funny scene :p

So you are Yu? And I am Mi? hahaha

Rush Hour 3 Snippet - Half-Chinese Clip

Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker go at it again!

This hilarious pair are convincing each other that they are more like the other person!

Ok...so Jackie's black and Chris is Chinese...wahahaha

Paul Potts audition on Britain's Got Talent

This dorky looking (almost sad!) mobile salesman walks in to Britain's Got Talent to audition.

Of course at first glance, most people would just write him off immediately.

Even Paul himself is unsure, and not much confidence to speak off...

Lo and behold, where in the world did that voice come from?

I was watching it and it gave me goosebumps...almost made me cry!

The truth is, even the smallest guy can have the biggest chance in the world :)

Susan Boyle's audition on Britain's Got Talent

So this is the video that my wife showed to me...

She was really excited about it...and when I watched it, it got me smiling too.

*ok, it seems this video can't be played on this site, so just click on it to be brought directly to YouTube and you can watch it*

Susan Boyle auditioned in front of the judges in Britain's Got Talent, as well as a bunch of pre-judgmental and cynical crowd.

To think a lady at 47 years old, "never been kissed", could remain so joyful, down to earth.

Who could have thought she's could sing like this! :)

Oh she shut them up alright...so keep dreaming that dream!
